1. Vaccination Policy: All pets admitted for boarding must be fully vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea/tick prevention. Proof of vaccination is required upon check-in. The Pet People reserves the right to refuse admission if vaccination requirements are not met.
2. Health Declaration: The owner confirms that their pet is in good health and free from contagious illnesses or parasites at the time of check-in.
3. Payment Policy: Full payment for boarding services must be made at check-in unless prior arrangements have been agreed upon in writing. Additional services requested during the stay will be charged accordingly.
4. Pick-Up Policy: Pets must be collected by 12:00 noon on the agreed check-out date. Pets collected after this time will incur an additional full day boarding fee. Owners must provide at least 24 hours notice for intended pick-up time.
5. Extended Stay: If the owner wishes to extend the boarding period, this must be communicated in advance and confirmed with payment for the additional days.
6. Abandoned Pets: If a pet is not collected within 14 days after the agreed boarding period, and no communication has been received, the pet may be considered abandoned. The Pet People reserves the right to rehome the pet at its discretion without compensation to the owner.
7. Emergency Veterinary Care: In the event of illness, injury, or emergency, The Pet People is authorized to seek veterinary care for the pet. The owner agrees to assume full financial responsibility for any veterinary costs incurred.
8. Liability: While every reasonable effort will be made to ensure the safety and well-being of all pets, boarding is undertaken at the owner's risk. The Pet People shall not be held liable for illness, injury, loss, or death of a pet during their stay except in cases of proven gross negligence.
